El producto es bello , de excelente calidad, estaba bien empaquetado y embalado, sin embargo lo voy a devolver , porque el último plato en el fondo del empaque/caja, está quebrado, partido, y eso quiere decir que el chofer de Amazon, repartidor de entrega de paquetes de Amazon no tuvo la delicadeza ni el cuidado adecuado , manipulando el producto, y al dejarlo en la puerta del destino, no tuvo cuidado y se quebró una pieza, las instrucciones dicen claramente: TENER CUIDADO AL MOMENTO DE EMBALAR,EMPAQUETAR Y ENTREGAR YA QUE ES UN PRODUCTO MUY FRÁGIL Y DELICADO QUE SE PARTE Y QUIEBRA CON MOVIMIENTOS BRUSCOS !!!

Per the store description, this a a minimalist set of lightweight every day use dinnerware.I was actually surprised at how well these were packaged, considering lately most items look like they've been drug through a gravel pit. Nothing was damaged!Removing them from the box, you can see that they are translucent as described - not sure why that really matters. They are also light and plain looking - both a plus in my book, especially for everyday usage. They're also microwave and dishwasher safe, and they stack neatly.So, is it worth it for around $76? Depends on what you're looking for, but considering that many dinnerware sets that have any sort of design on them are much more expensive, I'd say these aren't badly priced. Sure, you could find cheaper sets for everyday use, but they'll likely be heavier and opaque - not that that is a bad thing, but again, depends on what you're looking for. This set comes across as a little more elevated than the cheaper stuff, but not quite as elegant as the more expensive stuff.I could see giving these to someone as a housewarming gift, or for some young adult just setting out on their own.

The review is for the set of 4 of the Lumiere Pastel collection in Ivory White.Kingstone has mastered the packaging of their dinnerware set. The product comes double boxed (Amazon boxed again) and the actual product box looks very classy in green, simple but elegant.The product inside the box is very well packaged and unlikely to break during shipping.This packaging quality is perfect for gifting the dinnerware set.The set of 4 includes dinner and salad plates and bowls. All pieces are of good size and weigh very little thanks to being made of bone ash.Bone ash, is also what makes this set more expensive than regular ceramic or porcelain sets. It is harder and slower to make, requires more material and is skill intensive.What I am wondering about is the 30% of bone ash used in the set as per the listing when it typically requires 40% to 50% as per traditional producers.Don't get me wrong this does not take away from how good the plates look. A little translucent in the light but very white and polished when on a table.The way this set is designed takes less space than traditional sets to store and the straight edge rim keeps them safely stacked.I like those straight edge borders, different, but great to retain sauce or gravy in the plates. The bowls have a larger than usual bottom which increase the volume overall. To me the bowls are made more for breakfast cereals than soup.Again the fact the plate bottoms are straight make it easier to decorate your food in them. Not ideal for stew or a French Bouillabaisse of course.The plates are microwave and dishwasher safe, I have only used them in the microwave myself so far.I have used the plates for about a week now to get a feel on how well they would fair and so far so good. I can see very tiny knives marks on them but you would need to be picky and look hard at the light to find them. Overall the plates are doing a fine job.I have been careful with the set as lighter, to me at least, means fragility but in reality the fact that it is thinner and lightweight does not affect the strength of the product, bone china is actually known for being strong and not chipping as easily as regular china.The set for 4 sells right below $100 so it can be a little more than what some people are willing to spend on dinnerware but the value is there. The product is well made, high quality, great packaging, modern look, and very versatile and Kingstone has established its name has a direct to consumer vendor and B2C.Perhaps a set for eight is the better option, better price per piece and will do great for dinner parties. Guests will comment on how good the plates look.
